Aled is Chief Commercial Officer at Knowa, an AI-powered governance and meeting pack platform. Knowa has garnered the trust of over 600 pension schemes and over 7,000 industry professionals as it continues to set the benchmark for board governance in the pensions industry. Before joining Knowa, Aled was a pensions actuary with KPMG (now Isio).

Amanda Burdge is a Partner and Head of Investment at Quantum Advisory, where she oversees the development and delivery of innovative investment solutions and advice. True to Quantum’s values, Amanda puts her clients at the heart of everything she does. She ensures trustees receive effective and relevant advice in a timely way, allowing them to take advantage of any change in market conditions. Amanda was the recipient of the Professional Pensions Women in Pensions ‘Pensions Woman of the Year’ Award in 2024. Amanda is the Vice Chair of Trustees for the Wales Air Ambulance Charity and a founding member of the Steering Committee for the Women in Pensions South West network. She has judged the Professional Pensions Awards and the Women in Pensions Awards for a number of years and is passionate about giving back to the industry, having been an examiner for the PMI and serving on PMI committees for almost nine years.

Ashley, with over 20 years of experience in the field, joined Pluto in 2023 as the Head of UK Investor Solutions. In this role, Ashley takes a solution based approach to building and fostering investor relationships. Before joining Pluto, Ashley dedicated 15 years to Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he served as Institutional Director and Head of Consultant Relations in the UK. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in managing client and consultant relationships, driving business development, and ensuring successful commercial outcomes for a diverse clientele comprising DB, DC, LGPS pension funds, charities, foundations, insurance providers, and endowments. Prior to this Ashley worked on the Fixed Income trading desks at JPMorgan and BNP Paribas. Ashley is also the current Chair of AIMSE Europe, having been a board member since 2016. AIMSE Europe, with over 100 asset managers as members, is a not-for-profit organisation focussed on education, networking and mentoring for those working with Institutional Asset Management clients. 

Bobby is an Independent Trustee and Managing Director of HS Trustees. He has over 30 years’ experience in pensions and investments. He founded and chairs the Trustee Sustainability Working Group, a cross industry working group aiming to improve sustainability practices and policies. He is currently Chair of Trustees on the DB Scheme of a London based firm of Lawyers and on a small hybrid DC scheme in the process of wind-up. He is a regular speaker on DB, DC and ESG/ Stewardship issues and is looking to assist both the industry and his Pension Schemes develop in these areas. He is also currently an asset owner member of the AIMSE Europe council and past Chair of the ACA Investment Committee. During his career Bobby has worked with some of the largest and smallest pension schemes in the UK across all areas. He is an actuary by profession and has worked as both an Investment Consultant and a With-Profit Actuary.

Chris joined BESTrustees in April 2021, having had a lengthy career in pension scheme management, latterly as Head of Pensions & Benefits at Heathrow Airports, which included management of the legacy British Airport Authority legacy pension arrangements. He has held senior management roles for occupational pension schemes since the early 1980s whilst working at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and as managed several pension schemes through significant periods of change. He currently chairs the Trustee Board of three DB and one DC schemes and is a Sole Trustee for three other arrangements. Chris is both a fellow of the PMI and a fully accredited professional trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. He has been a member of the Advisory Council of the Association of Investment Managers Sales Executives (AIMSE Europe) since 2007 and a judge for many other pension and investment industry awards.

With over twenty five years’ experience in the pensions industry, Eve balances strong technical knowledge with communication, leadership and change management skills. Her background is in in-house pension management roles, working closely with employers and trustees. She moved to IGG in 2023 where she performs a range of professional trustee and governance roles. She is passionate about providing first class governance, and has worked with both mid-size and very large schemes.

Kevin has worked in the pensions industry for 47 years, mainly in consultancies, and concentrating on technical matters including legislation, regulation and trusteeship. He has been a regular commentator on policy issues representing the Society of Pension Consultants (now the Society of Pension Professionals), and the Pensions Management Institute, having been President of both organisations. He has been a judge of the Professional Pensions UK Pensions Awards since 2005. He is also the author of “Spotlight on Pensions” published online by Pendragon, and is a member of the Pensions Archive Trust Advisory Board. 

Lesley Careline joined KGC in 2012. Prior to this, she gained significant insight into the market from a provider perspective, working across pensions systems, employee benefit services, and investment management. This broad experience has given her a holistic understanding of both trust and contract-based arrangements. She has a deep knowledge of how products and service offerings are developed and positioned within the industry. Lesley is a past President of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI), having previously served on its Advisory Council and Board. During her presidency, she chaired the Joint Industry Forum, collaborating with various associations and industry bodies to engage with Government departments and regulators. She currently sits on the PASA DC Working Group. Lesley is a regular judge for industry awards, including Professional Pensions and the PMI Pinnacle Awards, and frequently acts as a speaker, chair, and author at industry events and publications. She holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Social History and is a Chartered Marketeer. Outside of work, Lesley enjoys spending time with her dogs and honing her baking skills — though bread remains an ongoing challenge.

Mohsin Harhara is the head of pensions at Skanska and a director with extensive experience leading the management of UK and Irish pension arrangements of major corporates He sits on a number of the UK pension schemes’ trustee boards and sub-committees, and the DC governance committee. He was previously the head of pensions at Evelyn Partners and head of pensions at Mott MacDonald, where he was responsible for pension strategy and overall management of the pension schemes including governance matters in the UK and Ireland. Prior to this, Mohsin has held pension and employee benefits consultancy roles with various advisory firms which include WTW and PwC, advising companies ranging from SMEs to FTSE100s, helping them with their strategic plans and managing various projects in areas such as DB liability and risk management, auto-enrolment, and pension scheme and benefit design.

An actuary in the WTW retirement team, over the last 23 years, Mustafa has advised a number of trustee and corporate clients of all sizes, through a wide variety of projects. Mustafa has responsibility for strategic relationships particularly with Professional Trustees. He also has a number of other roles, including as a Mental Health First Aid Champion in the office.

Nathalie heads up the firm’s strategic pensions relationships, focussing on LCP’s future clients and key relationships. She works across all of LCP’s service areas helping future LCP clients in finding the right solutions. In order to provide the best advice, she builds a strong relationship with LCP’s clients by understanding their needs and objectives. Nathalie has also set up and now heads the ‘LCP Professional Trustee Engagement Programme’. She works closely with key professional trustees across a large number of firms placing her at the forefront of key discussions and industry developments. Nathalie was invited to TPR’s board strategy away day in Nov 2023 as an external industry voice. She is the author of Sole Mates, an annual industry survey on Professional Trusteeship as well as Pensions Power Brokers, a publication examining where DB pension assets are held and the crucial role trustees play in managing them. Nathalie has set up LCP’s Professional Trustee selection service and advised a large number of sponsors and Trustees on the right governance arrangements. Nathalie is passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion and is contributing to a number of industry initiatives, such as chair of The Pensions Regulator's Diversity and Inclusion group as well as founding partner of the Female Forum – Pensions Chapter. As a prior governor at her children’s school she has implemented a number of new initiatives within the school to empower children with better communication skills and interview practice for secondary schools. Nathalie has a multi-cultural background, speaks 3 languages and enjoys spending time with her family (two young children, husband and dog) in her spare time.
